Support and Fund

Emergency Response for Artists and Companies

Your gift keeps Black Dance thriving, on stage, in the studio, and for generations to come.

Supporting the well-being of Black dance and its artists is central to IABD's mission. Since 1991, the Emergency Fund has helped members through moments of serious financial hardship, such as canceled performances, lost income, grant funding gaps, or rising costs for housing, healthcare, food, and utilities.

The fund is open to U.S. and international IABD members who have been in good standing for at least three consecutive years. Awards are made while funds are available.
