2. Year round contract (if extended, subject to availability) is $4,050.

3. To be determined.

Partnering is also a regular class weekly but that is if the pandemic situation improves. These dancers get the chance to work and perform with the main company on most full-length productions such as Nutcracker, Swan Lake, and many others. However, it is not a guarantee and remains the decision of the Artistic Director of the Company.

The MBII dancers also have their own show every year, named "Momentum." This is to showcase the dancers in classical repertoire; last season we performed the entire second act of Swan Lake, the season before that Balanchine's Serenade. We also invite for this occasion, guest or in-house choreographers to create new work for them. The outreach program is also a big part of the MBII training, performing all over the community, in schools, retirement homes, hospitals, and more.

The contract usually starts the first week of September until the end of May, with some time off after Nutcracker. There is no tuition for MBII, the dancers receive a stipend of $450 dollars a month.

The Nancy Einhorn Milwaukee Ballet II program is a division of the Milwaukee Ballet School & Academy. MBSA is an accredited education institution through the National Association of Schools of Dance.

A note about SAB's 2021 Summer Program:
SAB currently plans to hold an in-person, five-week Summer Course and an in-person New York Junior Session. At this time, we are projecting that CDC guidelines and state and local regulations will continue to mandate small ballet class sizes and lower occupancy in our Residence Hall, and we are preparing to operate our 2021 summer programs with rigorous health and safety guidelines in place, including mandatory distancing and mask wearing. Our plans will continue to evolve in the coming months and are dependent upon the progress of the pandemic and updates to public health policies. All programs are subject to change.

Twelve year olds must already be training on pointe by the time of their Summer Course audition.

For admissions to the New York Junior Session and Young Dancer Virtual Workshop, students 10 or younger (including 9 year olds who will be 10 by July 31, 2021) are expected to have completed a minimum of 1-1/2 years of training by the time of their audition. Eleven year olds should have completed a minimum of 2 years of training (including introductory pointe work), and 12 year olds should be training at the intermediate level.

Age Criteria
To apply for the 5-week Summer Course, students must be no younger than 12 and no older than 18 as of July 31 the year they attend the program. For the Young Dancers Series: students must be no younger than 10 and no older than 12 as of July 31 in the year they attend either the New York Junior Session or the Young Dancer Virtual Workshop.

Scholarships
