What is this?

This programming is specific to our Next Generation Leaders to support and offer continued strength and development for your organizations and artistry by investing in educational tools, cross-generational learning opportunities and leadership training. This year we will discuss artistic and executive leadership with focus on our dancers. In addition, a series of monthly webinars will take place where you will have year long access to online business classes through National Arts Strategies to assist you with the operations and management of your dance companies and individual businesses.

Who is it for?

Whether an established dance artist, mid-career or just beginning, this one-day workshop will examine the business and creative side of dance. All IABD members are welcome to join this session regardless of whether you are an independent artist and/or part of a company. Guess what? This program is FREE!

What will we be doing?

This inter-generational group of dance makers will come together and learn ways to deal with challenges such as financial management, fundraising, marketing and public relations, best hiring practices, strategic planning, and more. The workshop is structured with peer-to-peer learning opportunities. Lunch will be served.
