The International Association of Blacks in Dance (IABD), the international service organization for dancers of color announces performance dance showcases. At the heart of the conference and festival are five dance showcases taking place throughout the Washington, DC area: The Kennedy Center, Terrace Theater and Millennium Stage, The Howard Theatre, Duke Ellington School of the Arts, Howard University, Cramton Auditorium, and the Grand Hyatt Washington Hotel.

DANCE IN THE DMV is a pre-conference event showcasing the talents of dance artists in the District of Columbia, Maryland and Virginia (DMV).  The companies and individual artists range from youth to adult.  The showcase will surely exhibit the creative diversity of the DMV dance community.
