The International Association of Blacks in Dance (IABD) announces job and fellowship/internship opportunities with the organization at their new location, the Dance Institute of Washington (DIW). 

We are seeking a Development DirectorOffice Managerand Programs Coordinator that report directly to the President and CEO, as well as Fellows and Interns to join our team in Washington, D.C.

Development Director ($60s / FTE)

The International Association of Blacks in Dance (IABD) is seeking an organized, responsible, and detail oriented individual to provide support for all fundraising and development operations on a full-time basis. Reporting to and in partnership with the President and CEO, the Development Director will spearhead development efforts as IABD, Inc., continues to grow. A new position in the organization, the Director will have the opportunity to design and implement IABD’s strategy to support its development function.

 

Office Manager ($40s / FTE)

The International Association of Blacks in Dance (IABD) is seeking an organized, responsible, and detail oriented individual to provide general administrative support for IABD, Inc., as it continues to grow. The Office Manager works side-by-side with the President and CEO and Leadership Team to support a wide range of critical operational administrative functions. A new position in the organization, the Office Manager will report directly to the President and CEO.

 

Programs Coordinator (mid $20s to $30s / PTE)

The International Association of Blacks in Dance (IABD) is seeking an organized, responsible, detailed oriented individual to provide support for the Programs Department. Reporting to and in partnership with the Programs Director, the individual will assist and spearhead programmatic efforts as IABD, Inc., continues to grow. This is a new position within the organization.

 

Fellows and Interns (paid and non-paid positions / PTE)

The International Association of Blacks in Dance (IABD) offers a unique opportunity and experience to assist with the development and growth of this one-of-a-kind service organization. IABD seeks qualified undergraduate students, graduate students, and recent graduates interested in gaining Arts Administration experience. Fellowships/Internships are currently available in these areas of concentration: ArchivesDevelopmentGeneral ManagementMarketing/Social MediaSpecial Events.
